Yay it’s Thursday! Which means you know what tomorrow is…!
Do not know where today has gone! Can’t believe it’s quarter past 4 in the afternoon here already – gotta get my groove on with todays post!
Thursdays are special days in my blogging sphere, it means we can link up with the fantastic Amanda over @Runningwithspoons for a bit of randomness!
1) Manic Thursday!
So today I CrossFitted with David in the morning, came home, showered, had breakfast, checked and commented on blogs and then headed into town! David needs some new shirts so I thought I should make the most of the summer sales being on and off into town I went!
(Love my new sweater that I got a couple of weeks ago in the Zara sale – so comfy and love the design!)
Glasgow is so pretty – we have some amazing buildings, statues and art. Here are two that caught my eye today while I was out…
The first one is a building they have decorated above the Princes Square Arcade – it is a metal peacock (hope you can make it out) the head and body of the peacock is in the middle and its feathers spread out over the building. Stunning. Although trust me to get a picture with the only dark cloud in it – believe it or not it’s a lovely day here!
The second is one of many ‘Clyde’ statues that are situated around the city – he was the Commonwealth Games mascot and the kids (and adults alike) sure liked him!
I saw this top/ jumper in Hollister and completely fell in love with it – I love elephants! Didnt bother to look at the price though… thought it best not to and walk away! #pleaseletitbeinthesalelater
It was getting to around 1pm and I needed refreshment! I wasn’t hungry (thanks awesome Brussels sprout, bacon and cranberry omelette!) but I definitely needed something to drink. Went for this Coconut Water from Pret – not the best I have had but definitely hut the spot! And it has a monkey on the front, who wouldn’t love that!
5) This t-shirt!
Spotted this t-shirt in the men’s department of Forever 21 and was so tempted to get it for David! He LOVES dinosaurs! And to be fair, they are pretty cool. Does everyone go through a dinosaur phase (or never leave it like David) or is it just our ‘Jurassic Park’ generation?
6) Home now
Was so glad to be back home in time for a late lunch, well almost 3pm lunch! I like lunch late, is that odd? Glad to be sitting down for a while, so beat after CrossFit this morning – but more on that tomorrow…!
And that’s a wrap!
Do you like shopping on your own?
When do you eat lunch?
Dinosaurs, yay or nay?
